The responsibilities of caring for children and youth who have experienced trauma and loss, as well as those of the support leaders who serve these caregivers can take a huge toll. As the flight attendant will tell you, “you must put your own oxygen mask on before helping others.”

In this webinar, we will address:

  1. the importance of self-care for those who serve;
  2. the signs that you may be experiencing burn-out;
  3. strategies for ensuring that you have time to care for yourself; and
  4. ideas on how to encourage and equip parents in your groups to improve their self care.
